FAQ

What do I do if I get Pain?

The exercises in the app are safe to do, and in the vast majority of cases they will help. However, if you get pain while doing any exercise, stop the exercise, and see your doctor, physiotherapist or osteopath for further advice. There could be some underlying issue or other problem unbeknown to yourself so you need to get the appropriate medical advice.

Should I see a Doctor before Doing the Exercises on this App?

Yes you should. First, check you have the right diagnosis for your pain. The reason is that pain can come from many different places and an accurate diagnosis will help to ensure you get the right treatment plan. If in doubt, see your physio, osteopath or doctor.

What happens if my Pain is getting Worse?

Pain fluctuates – so some days can be good and some less good. That might be normal for your condition. However, if this is out of character for your pain then you should stop the exercises and seek medical advice. If you have not exercised in a while, you could be using muscles or stretching muscles you have not worked for a while, so you may get some short term aching from the exercises although this won’t be too common.

Can I do more Exercises?

Yes if you feel comfortable, and build it up slowly, you can do more exercises than what is stated. Or if you feel like the exercises are too much for you, then of course just reduce the number of repetitions, or perform the exercise more gently. Listen to your body.

Should I be doing these Exercises alongside my Physiotherapy treatment?

For the best results, see your physiotherapist alongside doing your rehab exercises. They may tweak the program slightly or take out some exercises that may not be relevant to you or your condition.

Can I keep my Therapist or Doctor Informed of my Progress?

Yes click “Other” and “Share Progress”. You can share your progress via email, WhatsApp, Facebook or Twitter.

How do I set up Reminders?

Do You Share my Personal Details?

No. We may collect anonymised pain scores to determine if our exercise plans are working, and to develop them better for the next version of the app, but we do not collect any personal details like your name, email, or any other details.
